Congratulations to Pete Flores on winning the special election runoff for Texas Senate District 19. He won the race by defeating Pete Gallego 25,330 votes to 19,367 (56.7%).

To give an idea as to how big of an upset this was, Donald Trump only received 41.9% in this district in the 2016 General Election.

Flores will now serve the remainder of the unexpired term and will run for re-election in 2020.
